The King of Fighters Movie Review
style=”text-align:justify;”>
If you are a gamer, chances are you would not like this movie especially if you knew all or most of the characters of KOF. It was a movie that only showed dryness in the essence of fighting. I knew something like this would happen. It is just a waste of time and money if you have watched this movie on the big screen.
They should have patterned per character based on the game itself. It was really corny from the start of the movie to the end of the movie. I would rather watch cartoons and laugh all day watching it than to watch this movie. Maggie Q was a great actress but the director should have given her something more on her moves for this movie which should enhance her front doves because Mai in the game was really sexy with the big B, you know what I mean. I guess if she would have worn what the original Mai Shiranui wore, she would not be able to handle it as well, hhmm just an observation.
Sean Faris as Kyo Kusanagi was just looking more like Tom Cruise to me but anyway his character here was just so-so. About Ray Park, well he played for the character of Rugal Bernstein and I was not satisfied to see his dancing moves, I mean fight moves. They should have made his hair blond too. Vice and Mature’s lesbian roles are not that satisfying too. I wonder who is in charge of their costume here. The costume designer should have been aware of the characters of the game but sad to say it was a disaster too.
The whole story was lame and the taste would be so bland if it was just a food. The effects used in the movie was not that I can be impressed of since it was suppose to have more but it looks redundant to most of the fighters in the movie. By the way Terry Bogard or David Leitch was not enough to be a funny CIA officer here.
I still don’t understand the changing of dimensions as the fighters fight and for what caused the snakes appears. Well anyway, I would give this movie 5 rotten tomato and no popcorns for free. It was really disappointing and the script writers should have been using oriental fans to cover up their faces.
