They plan on making LCD televisions with a much faster refresh rate which will be a bit more expensive. You do not have to worry about blurry or lagged screens with a plasma TV.
If you want size they are both good picks. If you want something that is smaller than 40” you may have to go towards a plasma TV. There are not many choices in finding an LCD TV under 40 inches. Also, the picture quality is good for both models. However, there is a rumor that LCD’s are a bit sharper in picture than plasma screens. You will have to look for yourself to really see the difference.
